Interested in becoming a Member of Windyke Country Club? All of our membership information, member benefits, options, rates and fees, rules and policies and the membership staff are all here for you to review. Take a minute to review what we have to offer, and you'll understand why Windyke is the perfect fit for you. Privileges:
- Unlimited access to our two 18-hole Championship Golf Courses.
- Unlimited access to our 18-hole Executive Par-3 Course.
- Seasonal use of our Olympic Swimming Pool, Baby Pool, Snack Bar and Deck area
- Access to five outdoor and three indoor Tennis Courts.
- Entry to our dining areas: Snack Bar, the Bar and Grill and Special Events in the Dining Room
- This membership includes an open invitation to participate in all structured tournaments, clinics or other instructional golf, tennis and swimming.
Requirements:
- Each applicant must provide one sponsor who is a Windyke member in good standing or a letter from a Club of which the applicant was previously a member, stating said member left in good standing.
- Submittal of completed membership application.
- Approval of application by the Board of Directors and payment of the initiation fee of $1250 + applicable taxes will activate the membership. Cards and membership information will be issued at that time.
- Dues will be billed monthly in the amount of $292 + tax.
- All initiation fees and dues must be paid by cash or check only. No credit cards accepted in the office.
Our Junior Memberships include all the privileges included in our full family memberships. Some of these amenities are:
To meet the requirements for a Junior Membership, you must be between the ages of 21 and 34 (proof of age is required). The initiation fee is $850 + tax; the monthly dues are $204 + tax. All initiation fees and dues must be paid by cash or check only. No credit cards accepted in the office.
All other membership requirements are the same. On the junior member's 35th birthday, he has the option of remaining as a regular member by paying the difference between the Junior initiation fee and the Regular initiation fee at that time.
Privileges:
- Includes Full Membership privileges during the week and weekend with the following conditions:
Monday-Friday unrestricted play at no guest fee on all courses. Weekends and Holidays: Must play after 2:00 p.m. and pay the Executive weekend guest rate on the East and West courses-$45.77 + Tax.
- Includes: Tennis, Swimming and Executive Par-3 Course
Requirements:
- Monthly dues amount: $204 + tax
- $850 Initiation Fee
- All initiation fees and dues must be paid by cash or check only. No credit cards accepted in the office.
Privileges:
- This membership includes the privileges and benefits of a Full Windyke membership, with the following modifications:
In order to use the two 18-hole Championship Golf Courses, the Executive Member must pay a modified guest fee of $27.46 + tax on weekdays and $45.77 + tax on weekends.
- Executive Golf Members are allowed access to the championship courses on weekends after 2 p.m. CST and 3 p.m. CDST.
Requirements:
- Each applicant must provide one sponsor who is a Windyke member in good standing or a letter from a Club of which the applicant was previously a member, stating said member left in good standing.
- Submittal of completed membership application.
- Approval of application by the Board of Directors and payment of the initiation fee of $550 + applicable taxes will activate the membership. Cards and membership information will be issued at that time.
- Dues will be billed monthly in the amount of $130 + tax.
- All initiation fees and dues must be paid by cash or check only. No credit cards accepted in the office.
In this scenario, "100 " means Windyke age + natural age. For example, if Mr. Jones is 75 years old and has been a member for 25 years, he then is considered 100 years old as far as the Executive 100 Club is concerned. So, what does that mean?
It means that if Mr. Jones chooses, he can transfer his Windyke Country Club membership to Executive 100 status with full Executive privileges.
- Full, unlimited use of the Par 3 course
- Full, unlimited use of the pool, tennis, practice greens, chipping greens and driving range (fees for balls not included).
- Access to the East or West courses at Executive Member guest rates:
Monday through Friday at $27.46 and Saturday and Sunday at $45.77.
- The dues amount for the Executive 100 membership is $35 + tax.
- All initiation fees and dues must be paid by cash or check only. No credit cards accepted in the office.
Obviously, this membership will be available and attractive to only a few people. However, these are very important members of our Windyke family, and we hope to keep them around for many years to come.
Privileges:
- This membership includes access to our five outdoor courts and three indoor tennis courts.
- This membership includes the open invitation to participate in all structured tournaments, clinics or other instructional programs for tennis.
- Golf and pool privileges are not included in this membership.
Requirements:
- Each applicant must provide one sponsor who is a Windyke member in good standing or a letter from a Club of which the applicant was previously a member, stating said member left in good standing.
- Approval of application by the Board of Directors and payment of the initiation fee of $250 + applicable taxes will activate the membership. Cards and membership information will be issued at that time.
- Dues will be billed monthly in the amount of $65 + tax.
- All initiation fees and dues must be paid by cash or check only. No credit cards accepted in the office.
The Non-Resident membership includes the privileges and benefits of a Full Golf membership with the following modifications:
- In order to use the two 18-hole Championship Golf Courses, the Non-Resident member must pay a modified guest fee of $27.46 + tax on weekdays and $45.77 + tax on weekends.
- Non-Resident members are allowed on weekends
- Non-Resident members must live at least 100 miles outside of the Shelby County line.
- All mailings will be sent to the member's out-of-town address. Income taxes must be filed in the state-of-billing residence.
Requirements:
- Initiation Fee of $200 + tax
- Monthly dues of $35 + tax
Seasonal Memberships are available from JULY 1 through APRIL 30. This is a “dues only” membership for any or all of the ten months included in this time frame (must be consecutive months). This membership is available to Full, Junior, Weekday and Executive Memberships for a period of ten months.
Upon joining as a Seasonal Member, you will be assigned a membership number, which allows you to charge within the club. If the temperature drops, we have covered and heated carts available. Tennis can be enjoyed inside a controlled environment covering three of our eight tennis courts. The food and dining at Windyke is delicious and inviting.
There are no risk and no obligations attached to the Seasonal Membership. If you decide to keep your membership, your initiation fee will be locked in at our current prices and billed to your account on April 30. All initiation fees and dues must be paid by cash or check only. No credit cards accepted in the office.
