| General Policies & Prices
Appropriate golf attire must be worn at all times while at Windyke Country Club. Appropriate attire includes but is not limited to the following:
Men must wear shirts with collars and sleeves. No undershirts or T-shirts may be worn anywhere on the Windyke property except for the Pool Area. Tennis appropriate T-shirts may be worn at the Tennis Courts but must meet the approval of the Tennis Director. Crew neck shirts are allowed with a 1” collar and must meet the approval of the Director of Golf. No inappropriate or offensive language may be worn on shirts at the club. Please keep shirts tucked in while at the facilities.
Shorts must be “bermuda length” (no more than 2” above the knees). Cutoff shorts are not permitted at any of our facilities. Bathing suits are not allowed in the Clubhouse, Pro Shop, Practice Areas or on the Golf Courses.
Shoes must be worn while on the Windyke property except at the Pool. Men may not wear open toe shoes without socks while in the Clubhouse, Pro Shop or while using the Golf Courses or Practice Facilities.
Denim is not permitted on the Golf Courses or Practice Areas at Windyke.
Weekdays:
Reservations are highly recommended Monday - Friday. They are taken one day in advance beginning at 8 a.m. and may be made by phone (901.754.7273) or in person. One course each week will be designated "Riding Only." The other course will be designated "Optional." On the optional course, a player may walk or ride. Fivesomes will be permitted to play during the week on the optional course only.
Weekends:
Riding: One course will have all tee times reserved for the day for golfers who prefer to ride. Tee times for the riding course will be taken each Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. Reservations are taken by phone only (901.754.7273).
Optional: One course will have tee times reserved for golfers who prefer the option to walk or ride. Tee times for the optional course will be taken each Wednesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. Reservations are taken by phone only (901.754.7273).
Maximum Players per group is four on weekends and five on weekdays (optional side only).
Tuesday is ladies play day; one course will have reserved times for the Windyke Ladies Golf Association (WLGA).
Children under 12 years of age are not permitted on the golf course at any time unless chaperoned by an adult or with special permission from the Pro Shop.
Minors 12 to 16 may play Saturday, Sunday and Holidays only if accompanied by an adult member.
All persons on the golf course must wear shoes, socks and shirts with sleeves at all times. Persons attired in swimming clothes are not permitted on the Golf Course, in the Pro Shop or near the practice area. Shorts for men are to be no more than 4 inches above the knee. Denim is not allowed on the courses or practice areas. All golfers must wear approved spikeless golf shoes on the East and West courses.
Reservations will be required for both courses (Riding and Optional) on the following dates:
January 1 - New Year's
March 21 - Good Friday
May 26 - Memorial Day
July 4 - Independence Day
September 1 - Labor Day
November 27 - Thanksgiving Day
November 28 - Turkey Day Open

The Board of Directors and the Head Golf Professional must approve all weekend tournaments for members. Golf outings consisting of more than three guests will be considered tournaments. They must be approved and prearranged by the Head Golf Professional.
Members are allowed to bring a maximum of 3 guests per round. Guests who live within Shelby County are permitted on weekdays only. They will not be permitted on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays. Individual guests may play only twice per month. Each member is responsible for the actions and financial obligations of his/her guest.

East or West Courses/Driving Range/East or West Putting Green:
Children under 6 years old are not permitted anytime. Children 6-11 years old must be chaperoned by and spervised by an adult.. Children 12 years old and over may play alone with permission from the Pro Shop, but must be accompanied by an adult on the weekend. Children are not permitted to reserve starting times.
Par-3 Course:
Children under 6 years old are allowed only if directly supervised by an adult. Children 6-11 years old will be allowed to play without an adult, however, we highly recommend adult supervision. Children 12 years old and over may play anytime, unsupervised. The Par-3 Junior guest fee is $8 and the adult guest fee is $12.
Each Full and Weekday member is charged $27 per year for the handicap service. Secondary family members and Executive members may take advantage of this service by paying an additional fee. The feel for junior golfers (17 and under) is $14.
Club care and storage is available in the Pro Shop. When you arrive at the course for a round of golf, your clubs will be placed on the bag rack for you. After your round, your clubs will be cleaned and stored until your next visit, plus you will always be provided with a Windyke golf towel for use on the course. Your clubs will be fully insured against theft and fire while they are within the club storage area. If you need to take your clubs to another course, you can pick them up 364 days per year between 7:45 a.m. and dark. The only day we are closed is Christmas Day. The cost of this service is $109.95 + tax per year. Call the Pro Shop (901.754.7273) to reserve a space.

Pull Carts
Pull carts are allowed on all of our courses at Windyke. Before playing, those who use pull carts on the East and West courses (motorized included) will pay a pull cart trail fee (both personal and club owned). The trail fee is $4.58 + Tax.
Our driving range is available to members and their guests. A regularly maintained grass tee is available to hit from in the spring, summer and fall. It is replaced in the winter wil the best artificial mat available. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until dark and on weekends from dawn until dark. Monday and Thursday are clean-up and general maintenance days. Therefore, the range closes early on Monday and some Thursdays. The closing time on theses days varies throughout the year, but generally is 90 minutes before sunset. Call the Pro Shop (901.754.7273) for up-to-date details.
There are three sizes of range bags: small, 40-45 balls, $4.58 + Tax; large, 60-65 balls, $5.49 + Tax; and jumbo, 80-85 balls, $6.41 + Tax. For those looking for a range plan, we offer four value packages that can save 20%-50% off the cost of range balls. We also offer juniors free upgrades on all range bags purchased.
