Windyke Country Club is committed to providing a wide assortment of exciting golf tournaments for its members. Windyke has all of the standard country club events such as Member-Member, Member-Guest and many more that one would expect plus other great events unique to Windyke. We provide events that cater to all levels of players within the same event with the use of our handicapping and/or flighting system. The Windyke Board of Directors Handicap Committee ensures accurate and timely posting of all tournament participants to protect the integrity of each event.

Turkey Day Scramble

The Tournament season comes to an end with the Turkey Day Scramble. This event is a four-person scramble that allows you to pick your own playing partners because of our popular handicapping formula. This is a great way to introduce visiting family members to your club. So get off the couch and come out to enjoy this ever-popular event.
Guidelines are as follows:
- Four-person scramble format
- Make your own teams or sign-up as an individual, and we will pair you
- Each team may have up to three guests
- Guests must have a verifiable handicap
- Each team’s handicap is based on the following formula
+5 – 0.0 = 5 Points
0.1 – 4.9 = 4 Points
5.0- 9.9 = 3 Points
10.0 – 14.9 = 2 Points
15. 0 + = 1 Point
Add up the total points and subtract 10. That will be the team handicap or starting position.
Joe Smith 3.2 = 4 points
John Smith 6.8 = 3 points
Jason Smith 12.7 = 2 points
Jim Smith 20 = 1 Point
Total Points 10 – 10 = 0 Handicap

Tees: Seniors 60+, Juniors(13 or under) Play White Tees
Ladies Play Red Tees
All Others Play Gold Tees
Entry Fee: $85 + Cart (per player). Range balls included. Paid by check,
cash, or member charge.
Players who withdraw after Wednesday, November 26 will
be charged for their entry fee.
