Adult Golf Instruction at Windyke Country Club

Adult programs are available for the complete novice to the accomplished player. 

Whether in individual or group format, you can find a lesson/program for your specific ability and need. Members and non-members alike are welcome to take instruction here at Windyke Country Club. Research the lessons and clinics pages to find the right fit for you. Many programs are conducive to business and social groups, so don't hesitate to work with the Windyke staff to create a date and structure that is highly functional for you.

Tyler Johnson grew up playing golf in Texas, where he was ranked 24th junior in the state and won the individual state championship his senior year. He played golf at Texas Tech University and won the Northwest Iowa Amateur tournament his freshman year. He attended the Golf Academy of America in Dallas, where he graduated with honors and certifications in Teaching and Club Fitting. With experience at top clubs, including TPC Southwind, Tyler brings a passion for technique and equipment to help golfers improve.

This physical screen test discovers the strength and flexibility weaknesses that make a golf swing susceptible to bad technique/swing compensations. K-Vest
This 3D motion analysis system identifies improper sequencing in the golf swing. The order and strength with which the hips, shoulders, arms and hands both move and stop their motion is directly equivalent to power and athleticism. Find out how professionals maximize power with what seems to be little effort. Video Swing Analysis
Simultaneous front and side high-speed cameras used with V1 Pro golf software to help students see areas of improvement. Ladies Golf Clinics

 

  • 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursdays from April 2nd - 30th
  • Make Your Own Group/Date & Time: Minimum of 4 participants
  • Geared to ladies who wish to build or refine their swing and short-game skill. Instruction will be tailored to individual skill levels. 5 hours of instruction. Limited to 8 students per group
  • Member Price: $109 Non-Member Price: $129 / $30 single session

 

'Get Golf Ready' Co-Ed Classes

Class #1 Saturdays:  April 4th, 11th, 18th from 1-2:30 pm

Class #2 Saturdays: May 2nd, 9th, 16th from 1-2:30 pm

Class #3 Saturdays: July 4th, 11th, 18th from 1-2:30 pm
